Archery season opens for antelope tomorrow, August 15th, and I am a little excited. I found this buck on public land. He was 350 yards from me when I took these pictures, so I just need to close the distance by 300 yards and I will be in business. Unfortunately, I have to work more than normal this week to get ready for the Total Solar Eclipse.
Archery season does not open for deer and elk for a few more weeks (September 1st), but I am getting geared up for those hunts and after Labor Day Weekend at work, I will be freed up a lot to hunt more in September. These are some of the deer and antelope I have seen this past week. Enjoy!
